Anavation's Core Functionality

Anavation is a web-based strategic planning tool that is built on Adaptive Management Infrastructure™ or AMI. AMI is the newest evolution of business software platforms and it allows businesses of all sizes to optimize their operations.

Anavation Works With All Strategic Planning Methodologies

Anavation was designed to empower business leaders with all of the tools required to create and execute the simplest to the most complex strategic plans. It works with all business management methodologies, but is methodology agnostic. So, users who are comfortable with balanced scorecards, key performance indicators, SWOT analyses or other methodologies can configure Anavation to meet their planning and assessment needs. Even a Six Sigma black belt will not outgrow Anavation.

Anavation flexibly accommodates every step in the strategic/operational design process and includes accountability and reporting tools to allow daily tracking of achievements or impediments affecting the end goal. This keeps executives and their support teams up to date with the information they need to proactively refine operations for optimal results.

Strategic and Operational Modeling Flexibility

Our objective was to build a planning product that could model and track multiple strategic plans, each of their components and metrics, while monitoring progress toward the strategic goal.

It was important that users were not boxed in to a specific methodology, and that separate operating units within an organization could leverage operational data that would be relevant to their group. Samples of functionalities that support this goal include CRM, Marketing Campaign Management, List Management, Knowledgebase Management, Record and Archive Management, Risk Management and Product Issue Management.

Strategic Management Functionality Includes:

  • Unlimited numbers of strategic plans
  • Unlimited numbers of strategic phases and business models per plan
  • Unlimited numbers of categories and category details per business model
  • Unlimited numbers of phases and phase details per business model
  • Unlimited numbers of detail steps per category detail and/or phase detail
  • Ability to identify preceding detail step relationships
  • Unlimited numbers of detail step metrics with extensive sets of plan-specific, user-definable parameters and baselines
  • Unlimited numbers of steps to track every parameter for each defined metric

Operation Management

All Anavation modules and functionalities are designed to interact with Anavation’s core operation management system. The operation management system allows users to create projects, events, tasks, agenda items and other items that require delegation or tracking. Document management and reporting functionalities then update users on progress whether their team members are in the next cubicle or on the other side of the world.

Operation Management Functionality Includes:

  • Unlimited, customizable item types
  • Items can be linked to a strategic plan
  • Unlimited operational action items with tracking capabilities
  • Each action item can have as many tracking steps as needed with comprehensive tracking parameters and tracking assignment lists
  • Each item can independently track its own progress

* "Unlimited" means there are no system-imposed limits to the number of files or notes associated with each item. However, file size, the number of servers supporting the system, hardware capabilities and other factors may impact the actual number of files that can realistically be stored in the system.
